Our chess classes are designed to help children become stronger chess players while developing important skills such as critical thinking, concentration, patience, decision-making, and confidence.

Classes are taught by experienced chess coaches in a positive and engaging environment. Students learn through interactive lessons, puzzles, practice games, and game analysis.

Whether your child is learning how the pieces move or already competing in tournaments, we’ll help them continue improving and enjoying the game.

Students will work on:

• Chess fundamentals and good playing habits
• Tactics and pattern recognition
• Opening principles
• Middlegame strategy
• Checkmates and endgames
• Puzzle solving and calculation
• Practice games
• Game analysis and learning from mistakes
• Tournament preparation for students interested in competing

Students will be grouped based on age, experience, and chess level whenever possible so that each child is appropriately challenged.

💰 Tuition

Trial Chess Class — $30

New students are welcome to start with a trial class before registering for the semester.

Semester Tuition — $175 Monthly Tuition

The semester program provides students with consistent weekly instruction and an opportunity to build their skills progressively throughout the term.

Each class is 60 minutes.

🏆 More Than Weekly Classes

We want students to have opportunities to use what they learn outside of class. Throughout the year, students may have opportunities to participate in chess tournaments, practice events, workshops, camps, and other chess activities.

For students who want to compete more seriously, our coaches can also help guide families toward appropriate tournaments based on the child’s level and experience.
